Job summary

Chief Industries, Inc. is seeking a welder to perform a variety of welding processes on production materials in accordance with specifications.

The role requires selecting proper settings, preparing equipment, and performing initial inspections while ensuring equipment is well maintained and materials are moved safely on site. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years vocational training or 2-5 years related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor to advanced welding on galvanized or raw steel per print specs.
• Select proper welding settings (voltage, current, heat, gas, feed).
• Prepare machine/jig setups; perform first piece inspection with QC tools.
• Maintain equipment and report concerns to supervisor.
• Move materials using hoists, cranes, or forklifts.
