• Basic mechanical and mathematical skills for operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor to advanced welding on galvanized or raw steel per print specifications and operates flame cutting equipment.
• Selects proper voltage, current, heat, gas, and feed settings for weld operations.
• Prepares for weld operations by machine and jig setups and conducts first piece inspections with quality tools.
• Maintains equipment and reports concerns to supervisor and operates material handling equipment as needed.
