Zero Zone is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate refrigeration systems using engineered drawings and customer specifications. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, multitasking, and a commitment to quality work within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent/technical training plus 1–2 years MIG welding experience.
• AWS D1.1 certification is desired but not required.
• Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Prompt and regular attendance is essential.
• Detail- and quality-oriented with the potential for growth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate welding functions per design documentation on assigned projects.
• Cut structural steel according to blueprints.
• Read blueprints to build refrigeration systems per specs.
• Paint final frame assemblies per approved procedures.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor and Quality team to ensure compliance with specs.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain welding tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Anticipate stock or special-order material needs.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and tools in assigned areas.
• Perform periodic audits of weld processes to maintain standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
