Qualifications

• 1-2 years of welding experience.
• Maintains attendance and reliability with a positive mindset.
• Strong attention to detail to minimize scrap.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand most of the shift.
• Demonstrates adaptability to changing production priorities.
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and qualified weld and setup procedures.
• Weld small and large assemblies per customer specifications.
• Perform scheduled operator preventative maintenance.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components for errors.
• Follow safety regulations including proper PPE and equipment operation.
• Weld components in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Maintain weld gauges and tooling; keep area clean and organized.
• Provide accurate/written/oral communication about production or safety needs.
