Job summary

Hendrickson in McKinney, Texas is seeking a full-time Welder to support production of welded parts. You will perform MIG, hand and robotic welding, inspect finished pieces, and maintain equipment while following safety practices.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior welding experience, with the ability to pass a welding certification test and drug screen. Candidates must read blueprints and tolerances, lift up to 65 lbs, and work in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at required production and quality level.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of PPE.
• Actively contribute to safety culture through training and reporting safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
