Amentum is seeking an experienced welder to perform precision welding and metal fabrication for prototype and production tasks. You will weld using various processes to meet exact tolerances, inspect parts, and support continuous improvement in a high-skill shop environment.

Responsibilities include interpreting layouts, operating welding equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards while collaborating with engineering on metal structure solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 7+ years of direct welding experience in metal fabrication.
• Ability to obtain facility credentials and pass required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Weld metals to tight tolerances, read layouts and blueprints.
• Operate welding and cutting equipment; perform finishing and repairs.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with engineering to solve structural metal issues.
