Job summary

Fence Direct Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld structural components and parts. This role is essential to the construction process, providing a strong infrastructure foundation. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-focused, and has proven welding experience.

The position requires reading blueprints and using welding equipment; a variety of tools will be used daily. Safety compliance and precision are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Welder.
AWS welding certificate is preferred.
Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings.
Understanding of all health and safety guidelines.
Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
Plan layout and measurements of structural components
Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job
Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
