D & S CONTRACTOR LLC is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in El Paso, TX. You will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld structural components and parts, providing a strong infrastructure foundation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has proven welding experience. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning layouts, selecting welding equipment, and operating hand and power tools, including manual and semi-automatic welding equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Welder.
• Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is preferred.
• Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings.
• Understanding of all health and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Plan layout and measurements of structural components
• Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job
