Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Pulaski, WI is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to produce high-quality metal components in a fast-paced fabrication environment. You will weld and fabricate across multiple materials and thicknesses, moving between welding areas as needed and ensuring products meet customer and quality standards.

The role offers a 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 12:00am, Monday through Thursday (4-10s). Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical welding experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree preferred with 3+ years of welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to weld in flat and vertical positions.
• Basic computer skills and manufacturing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Team & Communication - Be an active, reliable teammate who supports production goals.
• Communicate clearly with Team Leader and provide updates on progress or issues.
• Follow company policies and standard procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform welding and fabrication work across multiple materials and thicknesses.
• Troubleshoot welding inconsistencies and correct equipment or setup issues.
• Follow welding procedures, blueprints, and technical standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Adjust welding equipment to match job specifications.
