Job summary

Enprotech Industrial Technologies seeks an experienced welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld metal parts using gas or arc methods, read blueprints, and ensure quality through inspection tools. Responsibilities include setup, alignment, and maintenance of welds, with overhead crane operation as needed.

The role requires 2–5 years in welding within a manufacturing environment, strong safety practices, and the ability to pre-heat and inspect welds to specification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring/engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes with proper safety.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting (2–5 years).
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts using gas welding or arc methods and perform related cutting/grinding.
• Repair components and prepare for welds; read layouts and fixtures.
• Position parts, fixture assemblies, and set up for welding operations.
• Inspect welds with calipers/micrometers to ensure specs are met.
• Pre-heat parts as required and monitor weld quality during operation.
