G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Quality Weld Inspector on the 2nd shift (1:00pm–9:30pm) to ensure welded and fabricated parts meet drawings and customer specifications on the Bolingbrook, IL floor.

The role covers in-process, pre-weld, weld inspection, and dimensional checks using calipers, weld gauges, and other measurement tools; reading welding symbols and following welding procedures is essential.

Competenze

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and welding symbols.
• Experience in welding, metal fabrication, machining, or manufacturing inspection.
• Ability to document inspection results and nonconformances clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication with teams.

Mansioni

• In-process, pre-weld, and final inspections per drawings and procedures.
• Identify quality issues early to reduce rework and delays.
• Inspect welds, dimensions, and conformity with WPS and specs.
• Maintain inspection records and support NCR/NCMR processes.
