Ascent Aerospace is seeking a Plasma/Waterjet Operator to cut, kit, and process raw materials to meet customer specifications in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic math, reading tape measures, layout to cut lists and blueprints, and strong attention to detail. You will work with plasma and waterjet equipment, label parts, and track material usage in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to read tape measures and layout/read angles, cut lists, and blueprints.
• Detail oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
• ITAR export controls require a U.S. Person as defined by 22.C.F.R.

Responsibilities

• Cutting material to specifications of cut list.
• Plasma and Waterjet material cutting.
• Labeling each detail with required information.
• Keep track of the materials to be cut and material use.
• Documentation of A numbers for material-job tracking for id and traceability.
• Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
