thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Waterjet Operator for the Bloomington, MN area. The role operates heavy machinery on the warehouse floor, with a 2nd shift schedule and a pay range of $23–$25 per hour.

You will monitor feeds and speeds, read blueprints, and ensure high-quality machining outputs to support our metals division. The position requires 2-4 years of waterjet or CNC machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in waterjet or CNC machining.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate waterjet and CNC equipment on the warehouse floor.
• Monitor feeds, speeds, and tooling to ensure precision.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity and quality.
• Interpret blueprints and project guidelines to ensure correct outputs.
