Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years waterjet or related machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with 2D/3D CAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate waterjet machines to manufacture precision components.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, work orders, and technical instructions.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using calipers and tape measures.
• Align fixtures, tools, and materials on machines; select appropriate tools and attachments.
• Load programs, home machines, and verify program accuracy before operation.
• Machining parts to specifications using grinders, drills, and engraving equipment.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or equipment issues; deburr and mark parts.
