Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is hiring a Picker Packer in California to accurately pick, pack, label and prepare customer orders for shipment. You will use basic tools and follow GMPs and food-safety standards while ensuring safety and productivity in a fast-paced warehouse.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work various shifts including overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate.
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• GMPs and food safety knowledge.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick products from bulk inventory and place on pallets per orders.
• Verify boxed product matches order specs with high accuracy.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections and flag defects.
• Report quality or product concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Stack and label completed boxes on pallets safely.
• Pack and seal boxes using hand tools.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• Follow GMPs, safety guidelines and SOPs.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
