Job summary

UNFI is seeking a warehouse picker in the Los Angeles area. You will understand equipment, identify pick locations and sequences, and build stable pallets. You will also label and tag items correctly, ensure safety, and follow HACCP/SQF guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, reporting safety risks, and staying compliant with company policies. The role requires physical fitness to lift heavy items and operate pallet jacks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Safety guidelines and basic RF system functions ideal.

Responsibilities

• Inspects jack for safety issues and stages pallets.
• Enter productivity data accurately.
• Identify pick locations and sequence.
• Pick items and quantities, verify UPCs and descriptions.
• Label pallets and ensure correct master case locations.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Operate pallet jack safely and palletize items.
• Adhere to HACCP and SQF policies where applicable.
