Job summary

UNFI is seeking an Order Picker at our New Jersey location to accurately select, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. The role requires operating forklifts and reach machines, maintaining safety standards, and supporting inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include prioritizing orders, verifying items, labeling pallets, and assisting with loading trucks. A high school diploma and 1-2 years warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to operate forklift, pallet jack, and reach machine; certification preferred.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders with accuracy and speed.
• Stage, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Identify and resolve picking discrepancies or inventory shortages.
• Operate lift safely and follow HACCP/SQF guidelines where applicable.
• Assist in loading trucks and building pallets.
• Report to supervisor at shift start with daily assignments.
