Tandem Foods is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support production, shipping, and receiving while complying with SQF/BRC food safety and quality standards. You will be part of a fast-paced team focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires forklift proficiency, attention to detail, and flexibility to cover various shifts. You will contribute to inventory accuracy and smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Strong math and reading comprehension.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift operation certification required; safe handling of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and all food safety/quality requirements under SQF/BRC.
• Maintain safe work practices, including forklift operation and seatbelt compliance.
• Review production sheets to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Accurately pick customer orders by interpreting pick-tickets and using RF scanners.
• Load and unload transport vehicles; ensure products are securely placed.
• Maintain forklift equipment; perform daily inspections and charging procedures.
• Document all shipping and receiving activities thoroughly.
• Follow FIFO procedures for all warehouse inventory.
• Adhere to inventory control and MRP system policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping to keep areas safe and organized.
• Support other warehouse or production-related duties as assigned.
