Job summary

Energy Choice, Inc. is seeking a dependable Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day warehouse activities handling industrial engine parts and components used in power generation, natural gas engines, CHP systems, and related equipment.

This hands-on role covers receiving, shipping, inventory control, packing, parts ordering, and freight coordination, requiring organization, attention to detail, and ability to work with ERP/shipping software.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately work with part numbers, quantities, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with inventory, ERP, or shipping software is a plus.
• Experience working with UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight forwarders, or trucking companies is preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers, freight companies, customers, and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for warehouse organization.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift and move boxes and industrial parts as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming parts for correct quantities, part numbers, condition, and packaging.
• Properly check in, label, organize, and store engine parts and industrial components.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for domestic and international shipment.
• Ensure products are packed securely and professionally to prevent damage during transportation.
• Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and other required shipping documentation.
• Contact UPS, FedEx, DHL, trucking companies, freight forwarders, and other carriers to obtain rates and arrange shipments.
• Coordinate LTL, truck, air, and expedited shipments when required.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and follow up with carriers when delays or problems occur.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Order parts and supplies from approved vendors as needed.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding open purchase orders, backorders, delivery dates, and missing shipments.
• Communicate with sales, purchasing, and operations teams regarding order status and product availability.
• Help identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, shipping costs, inventory accuracy, and order-processing efficiency.
• Maintain shipping supplies and reorder boxes, packaging materials, labels, pallets, and other warehouse supplies as needed.
• Assist with returns, warranty shipments, and returned merchandise.
