Job summary

AMETEK Surface Vision in Newark, DE is seeking a Material Handler to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will move, store, and track materials throughout production and shipping, ensuring accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with shipping and storeroom procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming inventory and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Receive, store, and disperse materials in accordance with AMETEK policies and procedures on a timely basis.
• Package and ship customer orders with proper documentation.
• Follow material handling procedures to prevent part shortages.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to support operational needs.
• Complete cycle counts as directed, including annual inventory verification.
• Report Disposition Reports for non-conforming parts and products.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance and Purchasing regarding material quality issues.
• Identify and report parts shortages promptly.
• Work safely and report any unsafe conditions; ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as needed by business conditions.
