Job summary

Weiss-Aug in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Driver Warehouse to join our team. You will deliver/pick up items between Weiss-Aug locations and customers while operating a company vehicle, supporting the warehouse team with loading/unloading, material handling, and inventory updates.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, proficiency with inventory control systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with inventory control systems.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform activities in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Move and store material and finished goods within the warehouse using a forklift or other material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, etc.).
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when operating forklifts or other machinery used in warehouse operations.
• Sort and distribute material to various areas following work orders instructions.
• Perform clerical tasks such as maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments and updating inventory records.
• Drive company vehicle to other Weiss-Aug locations and/or to critical suppliers.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
