Job summary

Weiss-Aug – East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Driver Warehouse to join our team. You will deliver/pick up items between Weiss-Aug locations and to suppliers, supporting daily warehouse operations with focus on safety and accuracy.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to move up to 50 pounds, and proficiency with inventory controls. You’ll operate forklifts or related equipment and maintain records of shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with inventory control systems.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Move and store material and finished goods within the warehouse using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed when operating forklifts or other machinery used in warehouse operations.
• Sort and distribute material to various areas following work orders instructions.
• Perform clerical tasks such as maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments and updating inventory records.
• Drive company vehicle to other Weiss-Aug locations and/or to critical suppliers.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Driver Warehouse

We’re currently seeking a passionate and skilled Driver Warehouse to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for working as a part of the warehouse team and will be responsible for delivering/picking up items and packages from one Weiss-Aug location to another while driving a Company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Move and store material and finished goods within the warehouse using a forklift or other material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, etc.)
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when operating forklifts or other machinery used in warehouse operations
• Sort and distribute material to various areas following work orders instructions.
• Perform clerical tasks such as maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments and updating inventory records.
• Drive company vehicle to other Weiss-Aug locations and/or to critical suppliers.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with inventory control systems.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.

This position is at our East Hanover, NJ location.

Pay Range

$25.00
