Job summary

Modern Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Visual Inspector for Final Packaging on 1st shift. This full-time on-site role inspects finished goods and packaging to ensure quality during the final stage of production.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, interpret SPC plans, document results, and work safely in a manufacturing environment. A High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years of inspection experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor and/or aerospace inspections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection.
• Ensures quality of manufactured goods.
• Inspect goods as they are finished.
• Examine materials from production line before packaging product.
• Ensure company is meeting required specifications in the manufacturing process.
• Record pass/fail grade of products.
• Count number of products tested or inspected.
• Weigh product and samples to verify packaging weight.
• Compare color, shape, texture, or grade of material with color chart, template, or sample to ensure consistency.
• Package product as needed.
