Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking an Inspector to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications, ensuring precise setup, calibration and measurement of parts to tight tolerances. You will record data and prepare inspection reports, provide training to fellow inspectors, and help release products for shipment with complete conformance documentation.

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, and collaboration with the lead inspector to quickly address

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Set-up and calibrate precision measuring equipment and measure precision parts to tolerances.
• Record data and complete inspection reports.
• Able & willing to provide training to fellow inspectors.
• Demonstrate effective communication & leadership with fellow inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Set-up and calibrate precision measuring equipment and measure to +/- .0002" tolerance.
• Record data and complete inspection reports.
• Release product for shipment after final inspection and COC reports.
• Work with lead inspector to resolve non-conformance issues.
• Participate in daily reviews of workflow for continuous improvement.
