Dover Precision Components is seeking a Valve and Packing Inspector for on-site work in Odessa, TX. You will read drawings, set up precision tools, inspect components, and generate final reports to ensure conformance and shipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Record data and complete inspection reports with accuracy.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Perform cleaning, fitting, filing, tapping, reaming, blending, polishing and aligning to ensure proper operation.
• Set-up and calibrate precision measuring equipment and measure parts to +/- .0002\" tolerances.
• Prepare final inspection reports and release product for shipment.
