Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Technician to manage setup and operation of vacuum and pressure forming equipment on the production floor. You will monitor process parameters, perform precision trimming, and maintain machine efficiency to meet production goals.

You will configure and operate the machines to schedule, conduct quality inspections with calipers and tape measures, and adjust parameters to prevent deviations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine operation or a technical manufacturing role.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and use of measurement tools (calipers, tape measures).
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate shuttle and rotary vacuum/pressure forming machines to meet production schedules.
• Perform precision trimming using band saws, table routers, and slit saws to meet exact specifications.
• Analyze drawings, BOMs, and inspection plans to set optimal machine settings.
• Conduct regular quality inspections using calipers and tape measures.
• Monitor machine performance, adjusting timers, pressures, and temperatures to prevent deviations.
• Execute full machine setups, load tools and run initial test parts for readiness.
• Maintain accurate production logs and process data for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the team to foster a safe, efficient work environment.
