MacLean-Fogg in Mooresville, NC is seeking a skilled machinist to operate mechanical screw machines on the 3rd shift. You will work on-site, 9:45 PM to 6:00 AM, and ensure parts meet spec through careful setup and inspection.

You will read blueprints, verify with gages, troubleshoot equipment, document production data, maintain 5S discipline, and follow safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a machining/production role.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership.
• Comfort reading work instructions and following written/verbal direction.
• Intermediate math plus clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and gauges.
• Solid, hands-on knowledge of screw machine operations and production flow.
