Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking an overnight CNC operator in Mooresville, NC. You will set up and run CNC equipment, diagnose issues, and implement program adjustments to improve cycle time and quality.

You will verify dimensions using gauges, document results, and maintain a clean, audit-ready cell while mentoring less-experienced operators and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating CNC machines on a production line.
• Troubleshoot machine or process issues and implement root-cause solutions.
• Able to read blueprints and work instructions; document results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC and related equipment to achieve safe, efficient throughput.
• Run production, adjust offsets, and modify programs to improve cycle time and quality.
• Verify dimensions with gauges and record measurements accurately.
• Maintain 5S in the cell and follow safety, environmental, and quality policies.
• Mentor junior operators and drive continuous improvement.
