Job summary

An energy technology company is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join its production team in Cerritos, California. This role requires assembling and testing turbomachinery systems in accordance with specifications. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of technical experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 40 lbs. Knowledge of safety protocols and familiarity with production environments are desirable. The position will be mainly in a shop environment requiring personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience may include military training or technical degrees.
• Able to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with cleanrooms or FOD-free environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high precision motor and turbomachinery electromechanical equipment.
• Run qualification tests on test stands using LabView interface.
• Inspect and repair used or damaged sub-assemblies.
