Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for the turbine generator components factory. This 3rd shift role (Fri–Sun, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) focuses on hands-on assembly, fabrication, and inspection of turbine components in a climate-controlled environment.

Read blueprints, operate hand tools and machinery, and maintain strict safety and quality standards while collaborating with teammates to hit production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with verified education.
• Technical training or certification in manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong safety and quality mindset is essential.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing/assembly preferred, especially in energy sector.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
