Qualifications

• Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical drawings including GD&T.
• Demonstrated ability in basic shop mathematics (decimals and fractions).
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to set-up and operate NC and precision metal removal equipment.
• Ability to use micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.
• Requires lifting 25 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to discriminate visually and auditorily during quality checks.
• Physical ability for bending, repetition, and extended standing/sitting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor metal cutting machines including NC equipment to produce tube components.
• Perform first-piece inspections to ensure quality levels.
• Conduct ongoing quality checks, record data, and report discrepancies.
• Monitor machine/process variables and take corrective actions as needed.
• Complete tasks to deliver finished parts on time and to required quality.
