Job summary

TP Mechanical, LLC. seeks a skilled Trimble layout professional to lay out private commercial construction using Trimble technology. You will locate sleeves, hanger inserts, anchor points, and openings, and perform as-built point files at project close.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams and BIM, conducting site visits, and preparing Trimble RTS files for layout. Strong plan-reading, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret structural/mechanical plans.
• Experience with Trimble technology or site layout tools a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects and layout efforts with field team.
• Conduct site visits and communicate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Prepare Trimble RTS layout files and as-built point files.
• Meet with project and GC teams on site to verify control points and conditions.
• Collaborate with BIM to ensure layout file accuracy and as-builts.
• Maintain up-to-date point files reflecting field changes.
• Provide efficient and accurate layout to the field using Trimble RTS.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
