Job summary

R.T. Moore is seeking a Trimble Operator to lead on-site layout using Trimble RTS. You will locate sleeves, hanger inserts, anchor points, and create as-built point files at project completion, coordinating with BIM for accurate control points.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of construction experience, BIM familiarity (AutoCAD, Revit), and strong communication. The role is on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction experience preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interpret contract drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Trimble RTS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare files for the Trimble RTS for layout.
• Meet with project and GC team onsite to evaluate conditions of control points.
• Collaborate with BIM to ensure files are accurate for layout.
• Liaison between BIM team and project team as it relates to as-builts.
• Update point files with field conditions or changes.
• Provide efficient and accurate layout to the field utilizing Trimble RTS.
