Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an MP/LP Core and Coil Assembler to build transformer components. The role includes placing core laminations, positioning coils with an overhead crane, and crimping insulated copper cables.

This hands-on position requires training, a strong work ethic, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards while following blueprints and specifications.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in heavy mechanical or electrical assembly, manufacturing, or power equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Uphold safety protocols and wear proper PPE.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S).
• Collaborate with team members, leads, engineering, quality and planning.
• Follow blueprints, BOMs and specifications for precise assembly.
• Receive assignments from supervisor and execute instructions.
• Set up and use overhead cranes and hydraulic equipment to assemble components.
• Crimp and insulate copper connections; land coils into cores with a crane.
• Operate forklifts to move parts and assemblies.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
