Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking a Tool/Pattern Maker to operate and maintain Tool Room machinery, fabricate parts per engineering drawings, and ensure precision within tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Tool Room machines and equipment
• Ability to read engineering prints or templates
• Skillful use of precision measuring instruments
• Capable of fabricating and repairing metal/wood parts to tight tolerances

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Tool Room machines and equipment
• Fabricate, assemble and repair parts from prints or templates
• Construct, calibrate or set gauges and precision instruments
• Sharpen tools and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Follow supervisor directions and work with minimal supervision
