Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math and interpret and execute work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Constructs and repairs machine shop tools, gauges, fixtures, jigs or dies for use within the establishment.
• Performs duties with extremely close tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Plans construction procedures and methods, selecting proper materials.
• Lays out, fabricates and assembles dies, molds, and fixtures via blueprints and specs.
• Monitors quality according to process controls and sampling plans.
• Provides guidance to junior machinists as needed.
