Job summary

Domaille Engineering, LLC is seeking a Toolmaker to set up, operate, and maintain CNC and milling machines for precision components used in aerospace, defense, and fiber optics applications.

The role emphasizes exacting tolerances (as tight as .0001–.0002”) and involves advanced processes including jig grinding, surface grinding, and EDM. Safe, efficient workflow and mentorship of peers are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Machine Tool Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred, hands-on experience considered.
• Proficient on manual and CNC mills and lathes, including hand filing and deburring.
• Experience interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications; GD&T preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, machine, and inspect operations to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Produce high-quality parts to tolerances down to .0002”.
• Mentor less experienced machinists to enhance skills and problem-solving.
