Job summary

RAM Mounts in Washington state is seeking a Tool & Die Technician to perform basic setup and maintenance of tooling and equipment to support manufacturing. After a production order, responsibilities include cleaning tools, inspecting tooling for damage, and assembling, repairing, and storing tooling components for die cast and other tooling applications.

The role requires using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges, and working with surface grinders,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years Tool & Die experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and perform precision inspections.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble tooling components.
• Assemble tooling accurately and inspect components.
• Inspect mechanical components on various machines.
• Clean and store tooling components after use.
• Evaluate damage to tooling components and document issues.
• Set up surface grinders and milling operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow procedures.
