Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain internally.
• Willingness to work across all shifts in a 24/7 environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Independently maintain, repair, and refurbish precision tooling components for Shell Press and Conversion machinery.
• Use surface grinders, lathes, milling machines, and polishing equipment to exact specs.
• Inspect repaired tooling with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges; read complex drawings.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Maintenance to minimize downtime and improve tooling design or maintenance.
• Follow 5S, safety procedures, and document measurements and adjustments in tooling tracking.
