Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. seeks a Tool and Design Technician to program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machine tools to produce high-quality parts that meet engineering specs. You will read detailed drawings and 3D models, inspect finished parts with precision instruments, and contribute to tooling development.

The role requires an AAS or Diploma in Computer Integrated Machining and 5 years of relevant experience, with U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• AAS degree or Diploma in Computer Integrated Machining or related discipline.
• 5 years relevant experience with conventional, manual, and CNC machine tools or equivalent.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machine tools, perform setups, and ensure parts conform to print and specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, prints, 3D models, and technical specs.
• Inspect finished parts using microscopes, micrometers, gage pins, and other inspection tools.
• Plan, fabricate, and construct dies, tools, and fixtures to meet quality and cost requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and train others on proper procedures.
