Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a mid-level Tool Room Technician to join our manufacturing team in Skokie, IL. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and improving a diverse range of tools and equipment, with emphasis on CNC lathes, bed mills, routers, and welding processes.

A strong background in manual machining and blueprints interpretation is required. The candidate will operate various machine tools, perform routine maintenance, and implement efficiency improvements while adhering to safety

Qualifications

3+ years in a similar manufacturing role.
Experience with CNC lathes and mills, routers, and drill presses.
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
Ability to perform manual machining with lathes and mills; precision tooling.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and repair CNC lathes, CNC bed mills, routers, and drill presses.
Perform routine machine maintenance; troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
Read blueprints and schematics to determine tool requirements.
Perform TIG and MIG welding as needed; ensure high-quality joints and finishes.
Maintain stamping tools and use pneumatics for equipment upkeep.
Develop efficiency improvements for tools and equipment.
