Job summary

LeoForce in Elkhorn, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to support and maintain CNC and industrial manufacturing equipment, ensuring machines run safely, reliably, and efficiently. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and documenting repairs, with a focus on reducing downtime.

The role requires 3–5+ years of manufacturing maintenance, strong electrical skills, and familiarity with CNC controls; PLC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CNC machines and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable using test equipment and hand tools.
• Basic PLC knowledge preferred.
• Good communication skills and team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Use schematics and manuals to diagnose and resolve problems
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
• Document repairs and maintenance activities
• Support equipment installs, upgrades, and reliability improvements
• Work with production teams to reduce downtime
