Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating manual Tool Room machinery (grinders, lathes, mills).
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Forklift certification required (internal).
• Willingness to work across all shifts in a 24/7 environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of precision tooling components such as dies and punches.
• Operate surface grinders, mills, lathes, and polishing equipment.
• Inspect tooling with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Document measurements and changes in the tooling tracking system.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Follow 5S and safety protocols in the Tool Room.
