The Pivot Group Network has partnered with Hart-based manufacturers seeking a Tool Maker to fabricate, repair, and maintain production tooling. You will interpret blueprints and 3D models, set up CNC and manual tools, and work with engineers to improve tooling designs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience, a related apprenticeship or vocational training, and strong knowledge of metallurgy and machining processes. This is an on-site opportunity in Hart, MI with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or vocational training in tool making preferred.
• 5+ years' experience as a Tool Maker in manufacturing.
• Proficient at reading blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, EDM.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, 3D models for dimensions.
• Perform precision measurements with inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues to improve production.
• Maintain and repair production tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve tooling designs.
