LISI Aerospace is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to plan and execute tool and die fabrication with extreme precision in a metalworking environment. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and assemble dies, gauges, and fixtures to high tolerances.

You’ll perform test runs, adjust processes, and train operators while adhering to safety and ISO standards. This role demands meticulous workmanship and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of combined technical education and experience in tool/die making.
• Advanced knowledge of tool and die procedures.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision inspection instruments, and operate tool room machinery.

Responsabilités

• Plan the sequence of operations and layout for tools and dies from drawings.
• Set up and operate tool and die equipment and grinders.
• Work to tolerances as close as .0001 inch.
• Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan operations.
• Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, and tolerances of assemblies.
• Inspect finished dies and molds for conformance to specs.
