Job summary

Sweep is seeking a Tool & Die Maker in Tulsa, OK to set up and operate machine tools, fabricate high-precision components for metalworking dies, and troubleshoot tooling performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision instruments, reading blueprints, performing die maintenance, and collaborating with engineers to meet process needs while adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
Experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.
Able to read and interpret technical prints, sketches, and design models.
Knowledge of metal and other material properties.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill press, and EDM machines.
Machine, fit, and assemble precision tooling and verify conformance to drawing specifications.
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and gauges.
Troubleshoot dies and recommend design improvements.
Maintain accurate tooling documentation and records.
