Job summary

You will read blueprints, design new tools with CAD software, and leverage Mastercam experience. The position requires 5 years of manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina to work in a manufacturing plant.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient use of both conventional and CNC machining equipment.
• Physical ability and stamina to perform diversified maintenance in a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools to produce parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes.
• Repair and modify tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to close tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Develop and design new tools and dies using CAD software; Mastercam experience a plus.
• Select materials based on hardness, durability, and application.
• Troubleshoot dies and related tooling in a team-centered environment.
