Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Machinist for 1st shift to join our manufacturing client. You will analyze technical specifications and perform bench and machine operations to construct, modify, maintain, and repair tools and dies with precision.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling practices and precision measurement.
• Ability to set up and run conventional and CNC machines.
• Strong troubleshooting and quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and specs to plan machining steps and sequence operations.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other tools.
• Machine tool and die components to precise dimensions and finishes.
• Construct, modify, repair, and maintain tools and dies and related parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators to verify tolerances.
• Interpret dimensions and tolerances from engineering drawings.
