Weber Specialties Company is seeking a proficient machinist to lay out, machine, assemble and finish metal die components for stamping dies. You will study blueprints, plan operations, set up tools, and verify part tolerances.

The role requires experience with CNC machining, multiple machine tools, and the ability to assist engineering with new projects and continuous improvement initiatives. On-site work in Michigan.

Qualificações

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience or training.
• D.O.L. Tool & Die Apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with setup and operation of multiple machine tools.

Responsabilidades

• Study blueprints and prototypes to visualize die geometry and operation.
• Compute dimensions and plan machining, layout, and assembly operations.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines and CNC centers to machine parts to spec.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances; inspect and assemble components.
• Assist with tooling maintenance and dies assembly.
