Job summary

Renovation Brands, home to Reggio Registers, is seeking a detail-oriented Timesaver Machine Operator in Leominster, MA, on-site. You will safely operate a Timesaver wide-belt sander and related equipment to finish metal components to exact specs, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read measurements and follow work instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Timesaver or wide-belt sander.
• Experience working with steel, wood, or sheet-metal products.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation.
• Ability to read measurements with tape measure, caliper, micrometer, or similar tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• High attention to detail and reliability as part of a production team.
• Experience with grinding, deburring, sanding, or surface preparation.
• Background in metal fabrication or machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor the Timesaver sander to process metal components.
• Drill, ream, or tap holes per blueprints or work orders.
• Set up and adjust machine settings (belt, grit, feed speed, pressure).
• Load, position, and unload parts safely with proper material flow.
• Sand, grind, deburr parts and remove surface imperfections.
• Inspect finished parts for thickness, surface finish, flatness, hole accuracy, and quality.
• Adjust production to minimize scrap and rework.
• Change belts, bits, and tooling; perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Report equipment issues or wear and quality problems.
• Maintain a clean work area and proper scrap handling.
• Follow safety PPE and work instructions.
